Authors' Info

Presentations

Oral sessions: Oral presentations are organized into 120 minutes sessions. The presentations should take 15 minutes each and they are followed by a 5 minutes discussion. We ask the authors to submit their PowerPoint or PDF presentations as early as possible, but at least 3 hours before the session starts. The submission can be done at the Presentation Submission Booth. In order to avoid delays during the sessions, we kindly ask not to use personal laptops for the presentation.
We'll provide MS PowerPoint 2003 (English version) and Adobe Reader 7 for the presentations.
We suggest the presenters to contact the session chair 10 minutes before the session begins. Please have a short presenter's biography at hand.

Poster sessions: Poster presenters are asked to attend their poster at least during the respective poster session. The size of the poster shall not exceed 100 cm width x 200 cm height. Please see an image of the poster wall. Poster wall and pins will be at your disposal. We kindly ask the authors to install their posters before the session starts and to remove them straight after the session. Due to the strict session timing, a short presentation is not possible during the poster sessions.

Best Paper Award: The best paper committee will evaluate both poster and oral presentations during the Summit. The Best Paper Award will be announced during the gala dinner.

Presentation Submission Booth

In order to avoid potential technical difficulties with presentations, we kindly ask oral presenters to upload their presentations at the Presentation Submission Booth located close to the registration desks, at least three hours before the actual session starts.

Printing on demand

You can request printed copies of your selected technical papers for on-site reading using our printing on demand service.

Publication of Summit Papers

All accepted papers (both oral and poster) will be included in the CD-ROM Proceedigs of the Summit.

We are pleased to inform you that accepted papers are also planned to appear on the IEEE Xplore®. Therefore we kindly ask you to ensure that your final paper is an IEEE compliant PDF file, otherwise your paper can not be published in IEEE Xplore®.

Please note that the holder of the copyright is, in principle, co-organizer of the conference (HTE). However, we don't ask for a formal transfer of copyright by filling out a form. If an author wants to maintain it, we ask him/her to note that. But in any case: by submitting the paper the author declares the permission to publish it in the Summit's CD Proceedings.

Post Summit publication: Selected papers will be invited to contribute, with an extended version containing new results, to an edited book publication by Springer.
